I have a beacon previously configured as Eddystone and registered in Google dashboard. Recently one of us accidentally decommissioned it on Google dashboard. As per google decommissioning is permanent for a beacon. Only way to get it back is reassign a new beacon id to it and re-register it as new beacon. I tried assigning a new UUID from estimote app. But google’s beacon app doesn’t recognise it. Do anyone have knowledge on exact steps to be followed here? I have tried several modifications. But Google’s Beacon tools doesn’t detect it.
