Newbie Trying to make an Established App have indoor location capabilities

Hi all,

I am trying to configure an app that our lab made and make it use estimote indoor location.

The end goal is trying to open the app when we are near the beacon.

As you can see, I’m pretty lost. I am using Android and Android Studio to use Indoor Location.

I’ve used the iBeacon tutorial page to no avail. I copy and pasted the codes but i keep getting errors.

Hi Bryan_Mac,
so far there is no Indoor SDK available for Android (currently we only support iOS).

Although, since you are coding for Android, you might want to use Estimote Android SDK and use beacon ranging for your purpose. You can find more details (including installation hints and tutorials) here: https://github.com/Estimote/Android-SDK
