is it possible to track beacons via the default estimote app and cloud? Meaning, if the app picks up a beacon signal it automatically updates the estimote cloud with a “last seen at time xxxx” entry for this beacon (whatever tab this might be).

If you need this to monitor if your beacons are in good shape, that’s what our Beacon Health Check feature is about (:
It uses the beacon’s Estimote Telemetry data to let you know if it hasn’t detected it for a while, or if the battery is running low, or if the beacon got misplaced since it was deployed, etc.
