NFC Trigger doesnt open my app

Hey there…

When I touch my Smartphone with the beacon it doesnt open my app instead it opens the estimote app :confused:
I use the NFC Sample.

I am looking forward for answers :slight_smile:

Did you change the ‘Android Application Record’ through the Android Estimote application of the specific beacon that you are working with?

As per the DOC Set up Android Application Record

If you haven’t done so then:

  1. Open the app and find the beacon that you want to work with
  2. Go to configuration
  3. Scroll all the way to the bottom and look for “Android Application Record”
  4. Change this to your application Package Name. eg. com.example.packagename
  5. Let the app configure the beacon and try again
