What is the highest range of UWB beacons?

Markus,

the effective range between UWB Beacon and the received (e.g. phone / wearable / watch)
depends on both:

  • the beacon, ranging mode, its antenna and the transmit power (need to be within the FCC limit)
  • but also on the receiver antenna / antennas / enclosure / direction, etc.

For UWB ranging between Estimote UWB Beacons and iPhones we have seen up to 30m range line-of-sight.

Please note it is possible to have UWB Devices ranging with 70-100m range.
