Easy question for you

It’s possible to limit the use of the beacon (iBeacon or Eddystone) only for certain users making impossible to detect the beacons for users not enabled?
Excuse me for my English… Thanks

It’s a tricky one: the information broadcasted by beacons is always available to everyone in the vicinity. There’s no way to magically block the radio wave from hitting some people’s phones, and not other people’s phones.

However, we can “encrypt” the identifier broadcasted by the beacon, so that even when an unauthorized person sniffs it, it won’t be of much use for them. This is what our Secure UUID feature is for. At this time, it works with iBeacon only.
