I'm looking to buy an Android device to play around with some Estimote iBeacons.

Does anyone know if this list is definitive. If the list is correct, a lot of new devices does not support it. E.g. not the relatively new "ASUS MeMO Pad 7 (ME572C)", or any other ASUS device for that matter.
The "Samsung Galaxy Series Phone" is listed, but not the tablets - does that mean that e.g. the new "Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5" tablets are not supported?
Also - if a device is not listed, will it not work at all, or will it just be limited in some way?
