Android Demo App and Beacons Error

Hi,
I have the Estimote beacons and have downloaded the Estimote app from the google Playstore.However none of the beacons are displayed or detected. I am using a Android tablet 4.4.2 (KitKat).

I have tested the same beacons on a iPhone demo app from AppStore and they are detected perfectly.

Could you give any assistance as to why this may be as I am developing an app in Phonegap and have tried to use the Estimote beacons plugin and they are not detected and I think it might be Android problem.

Any solutions,advice?

Thank you for the reply. I have got a device from the list (Samsung S3-Android 4.3) and the demo from the Playstore works. I am now trying to use the phonegap plugin (kdzwinel/phonegap-estimotebeacons) but get no result/ none of the beacons are detected.
Is this plugin compatible with android??

Almaas, this plug in is compatible only with iOS, but please check out this one: https://github.com/jmusyj/phonegap-estimote-plugin.

I have MOTO E and REDmi 1s Phones both have Bluetooth v4.0, A2DP, LE

Are they Smart Device Ready ?

Please suggest.

I'm sorry for the delay!

If you can't find your device listed on that site, it's probably best to ask Bluetooth guys directly. Also, keep in mind that the system (software) has to be compatible with Bluetooth Smart as well. If it's Android, Jelly Bean is the first to work with BLE.
