Can't set Broadcasting Power to 0db

When using the Estimote app, I noticed whenever I tried to change a beacon’s Broadcasting Power to 0db, it doesn’t save the value. If I set it to anything other than 0db, it works fine. My guess is that the app is seeing the value of “0” and treating it as if no value was entered?

I haven’t tried updating the Broadcasting Power via the SDK directly, only via the estimote app. I tried it on multiple beacons, and couldn’t get 0db to save on any of them.

I’ve just checked that and you’re right. You can’t set 0db with our app, Cloud or SDK. Probably it’s a bug in our SDK, we’re investigating this right now. Thank you very much for finding this :raised_hands:
