Add beacon wihtout code

Hey I just bought an iBeacon from a reseller at amazon. The reseller did not ask for my email and he said that I have to claim the beacon after it arrives.

So i opened the app and I see this:

There is no owner entered. Should I be able to claim it though? If not how can I claim the beacon. All I have is the beacon nothing more.

If you Claim the beacon, we’ll send an email to the current owner asking them to confirm the ownership transfer. So it’s probably best if you contact the seller and inquire about that.
