I m just getting started. As far as I have browsed, Estimote beacons can communicate to Smartphones either using iBeacon or EddyStone communication protoclols. How do the developer know the communication protocol being used? @chaosjmaker, @Wojtekb
By default, our beacons are set to broadcast the iBeacon packet. You can change it to Eddystone via our Estimote iOS or Android app.
