Setting up iBeacon in established app

Hi there,

My name is Bryan Mac. I need some help trying to add the ibeacon on an established Android app. The app are questionaires and code is XML, which can also be put in HTML. This is for a university project and I am new to programming and navigating GitHub. Could someone tell me the steps I should take in order for the app to ibeacon functionality. You need to be able to modify the source code of the app (i.e., the .java files) in order to integrate it with beacons.
