Run code if proximity == near/immediate (while app in background)

is it possible to run code if the iphone is near or immediate a special beacon – while the app is in background?

Hi Fabian,

I'm not sure if I understood correctly your question. Beacons can work when the App is running in the backgroud. The user needs to download the app for the first time and grant it push notification permissions and then iOS is scanning for registered iBeacon devices all the time.
