I have 6 beacons, looks like the lights are off on all of them, just open the box too. Are the batteries dead? What happened to 5 years. Used the Apple App Store app. It will recognize nothing!

Can you double-check if Bluetooth and Location Services are on?
Can you download a BLE scanner (e.g., https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/bluetooth-smart-scanner/id509978131?mt=8) and check if your beacons can be discovered by it? (Should be named “EST” or “estimote”.)
