If I use the original Estimote app from the Playstore and try the “Beacon Demos” section I never find any beacons which are configured with Eddystone UID.
If I set them up to iBeacon, they are found within seconds.
And if I use another Beacon scanner it will detect the Eddystone beacons.
So: Are those demo functions limited to/filtering beacons with enabled iBeacons protocol only? Then it should be in the description for a) the app templates here: https://cloud.estimote.com/#/apps and in the app-description in the app-store (or even better in the app itself).
