Can I use the beacons connected in mesh to a server via any gateway? It will be helpful for 2 way communication if the mobile device is not connected to internet. How can I use presence detection of customer using estimote?For example,Think of the beacon as a tiny radio. It sends out a signal which the mobile app listens for. The app hears and interprets the information, then responds by saying “Alankar’s phone is here”.

the Estimote beacons (and the other beacons) are only transmitting information, not receiving. Think about the lighthouse metaphor (Eddystone), beacons only emit and don’t know if the other devices are in range (you can build a beacon mesh but I think phones can’t join it).
