Hello
I am working on a beacon project where the goal is to trigger more personalized interactions when users enter certain spaces.
The challenge I’m facing is designing smarter, context-aware triggers that go beyond the usual “enter/exit region” logic. ![]()
For eg, I’d like notifications or actions to change based on dwell time, past interactions, or even user preferences.![]()
I believe this needs not just strong coding skills but also a mix of creative problem-solving and UX thinking. Recently I came across the concept of what is a Prompt Engineer?
someone who carefully designs prompts to get the best output from AI.
In a way, I feel beacon developers are doing something similar, designing the “prompts” that shape user interactions. That made me think: maybe we can borrow some of that mindset for beacon logic. Checked https://developer.estimote.com/ guide for reference.
So, I’m looking for developers who might be interested in collaborating on this idea. Has anyone here experimented with advanced trigger logic for Estimote beacons, or integrated AI/behavioral rules into their apps? ![]()
Any insights or partnerships would be welcome.
Thank you !!![]()
