I’ve got several questions regarding sticker types.
I read somewhere, that sticker types will be editable by developers.
-Is this feature still on your agenda and when could we expect it?
Right now there are 11 different types.
-What is the limit on hardware site? 16,32,…?
Regarding regions you are allowed to range for all or one special type.
-Will their be the possibility to range for more complex regions (all but one type, 2 different types, 3 different types,…)?
Thank your for your efforts! Best wishes,
Yup, still on our agenda. Sadly, we don’t have any ETA to give at this time. Note that the type of a sticker is something that we simply store in Estimote Cloud and fetch it when a nearable is discovered by the SDK. With that in mind, there’s nothing stopping you from using your own backend (the easiest would be to sign up for, e.g., https://parse.com) and storing your own type mappings there.
Will their be the possibility to range for more complex regions (all but one type, 2 different types, 3 different types,…)?
Makes perfect sense—yup, we’ll aim for that. Thanks for your feedback!
