Phonegap and Estimote

I am trying to get estimote beacons to work with phonegap for both android and ios. So far, it appears to work with Android, but it does not work when the app is in the background. Has anyone had success with this?

Have you tried this link: https://github.com/kdzwinel/phonegap-estimotebeacons ? We don't support PhoneGap solution, but feel free to try it out.
