How many beacons for a floor of 1000 square meters

Hi I hope you are well,

I have two questions about Long Range Location Beacons (range: 200 m) knowing that I need indoor location in my iOS app :

  1. how many Long Range Location Beacons (range: 200 m) will I need to be able to guide my users in a floor of a thousand square meters (1 000 m²)?
  2. how many Long Range Location Beacons (range: 200 m) will I need to be able to guide my users in a floor of a ten thousand square meters (10 000 m²)?

Exact number depends not just on the size of the space, but also expected accuracy, how the space is arranged (furniture, etc.), how crowded it gets, etc.

Very rough estimates for ~ 5 m accuracy:

1,000 m2 => 20 beacons
10,000 m2 => 150 beacons
