We have a big deployment at a client site and Estimote recommended us to use the NFC reader . We use the NFC reader to identify the beacon. Estimote recommended us to use the NFC SDK. The SDK is not stable and many times does not read the beacon. We get back an error from the SDK as “Beacon cannot be identified”
The questions are as follows
- Does NFC reading depend on the firmware on the beacon ?
- Estimote is recommending to move away from Fleet sdk into NFC. How long will the Fleet SDK be supported
