Best practice to set emitting frequency of Beacon

We are starting our Beacon project. We are not sure about the best practices of how to set the radio frequence, signal strength and polling frequency of the phone

We are looking for accuracy at a 1 min interval and have a polling logic on the phone which will not poll frequently.

We have set the beacon frequency at 300 m/s and phone polling on ios is 1 sec.

We are seeing a lot of RSSI 0 data packets.

Any help will be much appreciated

Rule of thumb is, the lower the better, as much as you can afford the battery life. Something around 200–300 ms is usually good enough though.

RSSI = 0 usually means the beacon is barely detectable. What iOS device are you testing on, what’s your code, and in what range from the beacon are you testing?
