Beacon solution

Hi,
How do we build a beacon solution for a mobile app? Is it like below -

  1. Let the device recognize the beacon id
  2. Send the beacon ID to server
  3. Server sends back some infomration to the app about that beacon

Also, Is it required to register the beacons which i bought to estimote server?

Answering your question “Is it required to register the beacons which i bought to estimote server?” it will be easier for you to manage and set up beacons. To work with the beacons it will be enough to register them on your server.
