No, beacons do not have Wi-Fi module installed. They only suppot communication over Bluetooth Smart.

Is it possible to use any other bluetooth sensor to pull the estimote beacon data apart for smartphone apps. If yes,which sensors are recommended for estimote beacons?

You can use any kind of device that supports Bluetooth Smart on the hardware and software side to read beacon signals.
