Access shared beacon temperature sensor

Hi,

is is possible to read temperature of a beacon which is shared with us from another user via Estimote cloud?

Hello Sasha,

If a beacon is shared via Infrastructure sharing feature, you can’t read a temperature from it. Sharing gives access only to the UUID, Major, and Minor values of beacons.

Would be great if the security system would allow access to this in the future.
As far as I understand currently now difference is made when changing settings and reading temperature.

Hi Sascha,

To be able to change the settings you need to be identified as an owner of the beacon. In the future we might explore different level of access for shared infrastructure.
