Virtual Beacons with Indoor Positioning SDK?

I would like to try out the indoor SDK, I already have 2 working beacons and virtual devices, but the virtual beacons are not detected?

Hi Ahmed,

I'm afraid virtual beacons won't work with Indoor Location. Please order more physical Estimote Beacons, and you will be able to use it.

Also, is there a way I can manually compile your App Store demo app?

Hi Ahmed,

Virtual beacon option is designed to show the possibilities of the technology, but can't work for Indoor Location purpose.

You can compile some parts of our app using our SDK (examples), but not the whole app I'm afraid.

Please consider adding indoor positioning with virtual beacons as I would like to test out the functionality before buying more expensive beacons and not using them if I don't like it..

Let me rephrase, it's technically impossible for virtual beacons to work with Indoor Navigation. I'm afraid there's not much we can do about it.
