Proximity Beacon Mac Address

Hello,

I have some proximity beacons with the Firmware Version 4.9.4.
In this forum (Nearables MAC rotating) I read something about rotating the mac addresses of the Wearables Beacons.

Do you rotate the mac addresses of the proximity beacons with the the version above too?

By tacking the mac address to find the vendor I get the message „No vendor available“??

We currently don’t rotate MAC addresses in Proximity/Location beacons.

Note that our MAC addresses don’t actually use vendor prefixes. We use the “random static” MACs, as defined in the Bluetooth Core spec.

What do you want to use the vendor info for?
