Hey Estimote Community,

I am in the process of using the indoor SDK for the first time and have a few questions.

  1. If using more than 4 beacons can we map more than 4 walls? My current room is only 4 walls but the application I wish to use this with has about 6.

  2. Can we change the actual beacon images or attach text to them?

Indoor requires at least one beacon per wall, and works with any number of walls. You can also have more than one beacon per wall, e.g. if it’s a long one, or if you simple want to increase positioning accuracy.

With our ESTIndoorLocationView, not at this time. However, we’re seeing people overlaying their own images on top of beacons, and customizing it themselves in some other ways. Take a look at this app:
