I would like to know currently what is the difference between the iOS SDK and Android SDK in terms of features. And when will the new version of the Android SDK be released?

Current status as per 23rd of Dec:
Android SDK supports only ranging and not monitoring.
New version of Android SDK with monitoring is going to be released just after new New Year's Eve.
Current status as per 18th of Feb:
Android SDK supports monitoring. Also developes can change now UUID, minor, major, advertising interval and broadcasting power from code.
