I’m no developer so looking for some hints if this use case scenario could be implemented with already existing apps.
My building’s door is “smart” enough to have a GSM module - if you dial the number and your own phone number is on the white list, the door will unlock for you.
So my question is - if I placed a beacon near the door is there and Android app that will detect the beacon and automatically dial the door number for me in the background (i.e. the phone never leaves my pocket, the screen is off). I would obviously need to be able to tweak the TX values so the event is triggered as soon as my phone is within a feasible distance - 5-10 meters.
Again, can you think of a ready-made app that can be configured to do just that as opposed to having to code one myself?
