I have followed the examples exactly to range for beacons. On Android, are secure UUID beacons available yet? f so, how do i enable that? It is currently ranging for unsecured only.
It’s not yet, but we’re already hard at work at halfway-through to bring all the iOS features to our Android stack, so it shouldn’t be long!
For now, you can prototype with Secure UUID disabled. Enabling it later on is a matter of flipping a switch on the beacon and in the SDK (once it becomes available), so it won’t be a problem to add it later on.
