Android Beacon Accuracy

Currently working on an app where I want the devices to come within approximately 1m of beacons and be registered. iPhone works brilliantly, though on Android the measurement is way off on only some phones. On a Nexus 5 it is reading 0.8 at 4 meter distance, while it on a Nexus 4 reads 3.6.

I've already read a lot that there are issues due to the way android handles bluetooth le, and differences in hardware has a large impact on it aswell, and that you should not count on an accurate reading. But is there seriously not any way to get a more reasonable distance from it, or maybe a list of different android devices sensitivity to the beacons?

Hello Michael,

Yes, unfortunately with Android it's really hard to get accurate measurements.
