I can't seem to get the icon for my app to show up on the lock screen. I keep getting the safari icon, which navigates to blog.estimote.com.
What am I missing - I followed all the instructions at http://blog.estimote.com/post/97824495825/ios-8-pushes-location-context-to-a-new-level-lock?

The Safari icon is part of the Handoff mechanism, you can read more about it on the Apple's page:
https://www.apple.com/ios/whats-new/continuity/
Handoff always has higher priority than the Suggested Apps, so you'd probably need to close Safari first in order to have your app's icon pop up on the lock screen.
