Here & Now link timeout option

Hi there,

I just bought a set of beacons and tried to use Here & Now function.

I see the function can help me to do a redirection to my non HTTPS link which is great.

However I do not want user to bookmark the redirect links which generate by Here & Now.

So my question is could those links be timeout after a period of time?

Thanks for the kind words! Where do you plan to use H&N? (:

In general, we like the idea of “ephemeral links” for a few more reasons. (e.g., you want some content only to be discoverable when in range of a beacon, so if a user notes down the URL the beacon broadcasts, it’s gonna expire after some time, and you have to come in range of the beacon again if you want to discover the new one)

Can’t promise if/when we would add that though. Knowing if more people would want to see such an option will certainly help, so if anyone else is reading, reply here (:

I am planning to use it as a event head count machine.

Ephemeral-url is great, however do would mind to keep it like H&N, which can customize the title of the url and can let user to host a non-https link.
