hi guys,
i have my hands on 3 beacons from a developer preview kit. 2 of them are working just fine but one is acting a little bit weird. it is not transmitting any data. it only does so if i press and hold the button on top of it. any idea why it does that?
i updated to the newest firmware, still no change in behaviour.

It’s not a button actually (: Most likely, the battery in your beacon does not connect to the PCB well enough, and when you press on top of the beacon, it temporarily makes contact. A slight manufacturing hiccup, but it’s easily fixable! (: Just pull the PCB out of the enclosure through an opening in the back, behind the sticky tape, and bend the battery holder a little towards the PCB, to ensure it pushes the battery towards the golden plate firmly enough.
