Since the beacons send out a blue-tooth signal and I am new to this, is there any way to change the blue-tooth signal name to get them to download the app to view the beacon? it might already be answered but I haven’t found it.
This would require system-level support, i.e., iOS / Android picks up the signal from a beacon, and prompts the user to install an appropriate app. Unfortunately, neither OSes have this at the moment.
